Andrew “Drew” Dennett, M.S.W., LCSW, CHt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 136239) and Clinical Hypnotherapist, registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences providing individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, as well as hypnotherapy, for clients seeking thoughtful, depth-oriented, and results-driven care. Drew earned his Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California’s Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, where he completed rigorous clinical practicums and advanced coursework with a focus on child development, family systems, and relational dynamics. His training informs a nuanced, integrative approach that balances practical skill-building with deep psychological exploration.
In his work, Drew helps clients not only navigate day-to-day challenges, but also examine the unconscious patterns, beliefs, and emotional dynamics that quietly shape behavior and relationships. He believes that sustained curiosity and self-reflection foster a stronger sense of identity, purpose, and personal agency. When appropriate, Drew incorporates hypnotherapy to access deeper levels of awareness and facilitate meaningful change. He is also currently completing training in EMDR.
Drew works with adults, couples, and families around a wide range of concerns, including relationship difficulties, childhood and developmental trauma, anxiety and chronic stress, self-esteem, addiction and compulsive behaviors, depression, family conflict, codependency, grief, anger, spirituality, bipolar disorder, and major life transitions. Drew is often described as thoughtful, direct, creative, and deeply compassionate by his patients. His style is collaborative yet insightful, offering a supportive space for people who value depth, honesty, and transformative growth in their therapeutic work.
